Thank you

Kym Illman

Here I am back in my home town after a 22 hour journey from the stunning open plains of Tanzania. As usual I have a multitude of stories to share but they can come later, because right now I want to say thank you.

Whether you’ve made the commitment to train your staff with Canity, are reading my books or just sharing this blog with one other person… I’m acutely aware that our achievements wouldn’t be possible without your support.

You’ve probably noticed some marvellous changes. We began 2015 at a sprinting pace and there’s no sign of things slowing down. My plan for this year is to focus on helping business owners break free from old routines and equip their staff with the skills they need to excel. I’m positively elated that Canity is already helping organisations manoeuvre onto a proactive and more profitable path.

Creating this video training series isn’t just fun, the individual feedback I’ve received from subscribers has been a joy to read. Of course I want to hear the good and not so good: How can we do better? What else do you want to learn about? When I hear from you it gives me – and my marvellous team – a charge to do more, so thank you and keep it coming!

I couldn’t make it alone: I have a deep appreciation for my team. I feel privileged to work with such a diverse and talented group of people who share my passion for outstanding customer service and innovative marketing ideas. I consistently see them going the extra mile for each other and our clients, and offer my heartfelt thanks for all they do.

Another cause for celebration later this year will be the launch of Africa On Safari, a 204-page glossy photo book featuring images that Tonya (my wife) and I have shot over many years of safariing around Africa. Tonya plays an enormous part in almost every part of my life and in particular, the running of Messages On Hold.

I’m really looking forward to bringing you more tools to grow your business over the coming months. Thank you for putting your energy towards this shift for the better. Only you can give yourself permission to change, otherwise you’ll wait forever.

And finally, thank you for reading my blog.
